Gilmour Lady Lancers Ice Hockey

Game 3 likely ended Gilmour’s hopes  for  a place in the final at the Ohio Flames “Ignite the Ice” tournament this weekend. They still tied two periods giving them 1 point. The Lancers await the final game tonight to determine what  teams play  on Sunday.

The Lady Lancers claimed 4.5 points in their convincing win over Suffolk/PAL this morning at the GA Ice Arena. They take on an excellent Brampton (Ontario) team tonight in 9:00 PM face-off at Gilmour Academy.

After a slow start the Lady Lancers turned it on in periods 2 &3 with five goals by five different players, including a surprising defensive slap shot by Senior Krista Parran. Way to go girls! Check back after the tournament for all the photos and scores.

The Gilmour Lady Lancers will play at the Ohio Phantom/Flames “Ignite the Ice” Tournament in Cleveland Sept. 28th-30th. See our ‘Schedule‘ page for details. Friday’s 4:50 PM game with be at the Mentor Civic Ice Arena. Games on Saturday morning and Saturday evening will be at Gilmour Academy. Check back for photos!
