Well, after two years of watching and photographing Lady Lancers Hockey its come to the end of the road for us. It’s been great fun and I hope you enjoyed viewing our photos as much as I enjoying shooting them!
There’s still one more set of photos to get up here (from this past week’s Team Banquet) so look for them soon. In the meantime check out the video page and watch my “Senior Tribute” as well as the (rather long!) video that Lauren put together (with assistance from others!) for the party.

After the Flames managed a win against the Am Pens today, Gilmour was awarded the Finalist Trophy and Silver Medals after the last U19 game at Hoover Arena in Strongsville, OH. The Ohio Phantom Flames will represent the Mid-American District next month at the USA Nationals games.

On a 3rd period power play goal and an empty net goal the Flames beat out Gilmour 2-0.

After both Culver and Gilmour suffered losses today they will meet (for the 5th time this season) as the 2nd place teams in their respective divisions. Culver fell to Wisconsin in a close 3-2 contest while Minnesota bested Gilmour 3-1 in another physical penalty-ridden game.

The Lancers battled Victory Honda to a 2-1 win in their opening game at Culver. The play was very physical with VH drawing several penalties. GA kept their composure and the lead they had from the 1st period. Gilmour meets up with Minnesota next at 8:45 PM tonight.

In the initial NAPHA playoff round Gilmour lost to NSA 4-3 despite an early 2-0 lead and a goal in the final minute of the game to bring the Lancers within one goal.
In their second game today Gilmour triumphed over KES 3-1.

On Saturday (02/16/2008) the Lady Lancers won decisively against Appleby (7-0) to advance to the NAPHA playoffs. Jane Kaufmann led the scoring with 2 short-handed goals.
